Karen’s eyes light up at the mention of the work she does as a personal carer. “I love what I do and I do what I love”, she says matter-of-factly of the in-home support role she’s been doing for the past year as a Diverse Care Worker.
Sangeeta was surrounded by the beauty of dance since she was four years old. Her family had a deep connection to dance and music and encouraged her to do competitions all over India.
Abdul’s dream is to one day become a pilot. For the 14-year-old, travelling, speaking different languages, and experiencing diverse cultures would make for the perfect job.
