Home is more than a place. It is where you are safe, where you can learn, where your family is, where you are financially secure, where you feel welcome. It can be many things and looks different to everyone. At SMRC, home is where we thrive, together.

This Refugee Week, we celebrate the diverse definitions of home and showcase the journey of those who have found their home with the support of SMRC. For many migrants and refugees, finding a home is a journey filled with challenges and triumphs.

By building upon the Refugee Week 2024 official theme ‘Finding Freedom – Family’ we explore the connection between freedom and a sense of home.
