Voluntary: SMRC Committee Members

The Southern Migrant and Refugee Centre (SMRC) Board is looking for volunteers to join as members in its various Committees.

About the Committee positions: To strengthen the skills and knowledge base of the existing Board, SMRC is looking for individual with expertise and experience in one or more of the following areas:

1. Finance and Risk Management Committee
2. ICT Committee
3. Strategy and Program (S&P) Committee
4. People and Change Management Committee

All appointments to SMRC are subject to the following: 

• Police Check (not older than 6 months) 
• Employee Working with Children Check (not expired) 
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (not expired)

The subject line must read ‘SMRC Board Application’ and files attached must be less than 2Mb.

All applications submitted must include the following:

1. A brief cover letter;
2. A maximum two-page CV; and
3. A brief description of the contribution you can make as a Committee Member, making reference to the skills, knowledge and experience you will bring to the SMRC Board. (1000-word limit).
