SMRC’s Inclusive by Design Business Networking Event brought together employers and community leaders to explore practical ways to create culturally inclusive and safe workplaces. The event highlighted lived experience, collaboration and the importance of ongoing conversations.

SMRC celebrated the 2025 HIPPY graduates on 21 November, honouring the achievements of children, families and tutors. The ceremony showcased the program’s lasting impact on early learning, confidence and family empowerment.

Ahmed found joy once again through the support and care from one of SMRC’s ACVVS (Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme) volunteers.

Sharon, now a Case Manager with SMRC’s Diverse Care Team, first joined SMRC more than ten years ago. After returning in 2024, she continues to support migrants and refugees as they build new lives in the community.
