Sharon, now a Case Manager with SMRC’s Diverse Care Team, first joined SMRC more than ten years ago. After returning in 2024, she continues to support migrants and refugees as they build new lives in the community.
The Hive Program is a social support program designed for seniors, providing the opportunity to come together, enjoy healthy and nutritious meals, engage in physical exercise, and of course, participate in gardening!
Zohra came to Australia just under a year ago. With support from SMRC’s driving program, she overcame fear, gained her licence, and found the freedom to move forward independently.
After fleeing Afghanistan, Mina arrived in Melbourne with a dream many take for granted: to learn how to drive. With support from SMRC, she’s now steering her life in a new direction, gaining freedom and confidence on the road.
