Activities & community outings
The Sister’s Circle Program provides a relaxed and welcoming space for women to connect, share experiences, and discuss important topics. Most sessions feature guest speakers from external organisations, covering key topics such as health, legal rights, employment services, and family support. Community outings include visits to Melbourne CBD, the local library, and other key locations to help participants explore their surroundings and enhance their sense of belonging.
The Sister’s Circle Program is funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Social Services under the Settlement Engagement and Transition Support (SETS) Program.
Any donations received from fundraising efforts enable SMRC to offer additional places in our programs, extending beyond the scope of government-funded spots.
