English for Citizenship

SMRC’s English for Citizenship Program helps migrants and refugees prepare for the Australian Citizenship Test by providing essential knowledge about Australia’s government, laws, and society.

 

Improve your English skills while preparing for the Australian Citizenship Test. This course helps participants understand the language behind key terms and concepts related to citizenship. This program also supports participants in their broader settlement journey by building confidence and understanding of Australian values.

When: Thursdays, 12.30pm – 2.30pm
Where: Doveton College, 62 Tristania St, Doveton VIC 3177

 

Who can join?

  • Humanitarian and Refugee Entrants and Partner and Family permanent visa holders.

 

The citizenship program is funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Social Services under the Settlement Engagement and Transition Support (SETS) Program.
