A change to Aged Care in Australia

27 November 2024

The Aged Care sector in Australia is undergoing significant reform, with the Support at Home Program on track to commence on 1 July 2025. As a Commonwealth Home Support Programme Provider and with the provision of in-home care through our Diverse Care business, SMRC continues to stay abreast of the changes that will inform how we do business into the future. With the Aged Care Bill recently passing both houses of Parliament, making the new Aged Care Act a reality, SMRC is ensuring our model of service delivery supports strengthened aged care quality standards and a toughened regulatory environment, through the delivery of client-centric tailored supports relevant to the needs of those we support.
