Youth Arts & Literature Prize

Celebrating creativity in Art & Literature. Entries are now open for the 2019 SMRC Youth Arts and Literature Prize.

The exciting Youth Arts and Literature Prize looks to uncover and recognize talented young artists and writers in our region.

The SMRC Youth Arts and Literature Prize is open to anyone aged between 12 and 25 years of age living within City of Dandenong, City of Casey or the Shire of Cardinia.

With a focus on cultural diversity and harmony, there are a number of categories for the Youth Arts and Literature Prize, with separate age groups for each category.

  • Participants must read the Term & Conditions before entering & must submit an entry form with their entry.
  • Entries are open April 23rd and close at 5 p.m on June 11th 2019 with entry forms available from SMRC, any library branch in the city of Dandenong, Casey and Cardinia or online at www.smrc.org.

Entries will be announced at the Refugee Week Visual Arts and Literacy Exhibition opening.
